KATHMANDU

The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, is 25 kms in length and 15 kms in width, scarcely bigger than any medium sized city. The valley of Kathmandu is fertile, flat,and compact. It is situated at an altitude of between 1200 to 1500 mts.

A 30 km drive from Kathmandu on the Arniko Highway, the road that leads to the mysterious land- Tibet is the ancient town of Dhulikhel at a height of 6000 ft from sea level.

NAGARKOT

An alpine resort, perched on a ridge at an elevation of 2015 m, only 32 km away from Kathmandu, Nagarkot offers some of the most spectacular views of the diverse natural beauty of this Himalayan Kingdom. The scenic drive from the city centre takes just over an hour.

POKHRA

A scenic 200 km mountainside drive or simply a 25 minute flight away from Kathmandu lies the sun-kissed valley of Pokhra famed for its emerald lakes and awesome snow peaks looming overhead. Besides the snowy mountains, other charms of the Valley are its eminent Fewa, Begnas and Rupa Lakes.

CHITWAN

Nepal’s best known and most accessible national park is Royal Chitwan National Park. Established in 1973 and enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984, it covers an area of 932 sq.km. This park is home of 450 species of birds and over 50 species of mammals.
