Patal Bhubaneswar:
14 km to the north of Gangolihat and 91 kms from Pithoragarh, Patal Bhubaneswar is at an elevation of 1350 mts. The way to the temple is through a narrow tunnel shaped cave. The main passage way opens into several small caves.

29.7 km away from Almora at a height of 2412 m the summer capital of Chand Kings was Binsar mountains. From the oak, pine and rhododendran shaded jungle Binsar the cluster of great peaks Kedarnath, Trishul, Nandadevi etc. peaks are mesmerizing.

Chokhori(Vijaypur):
The 2010 m high Choukori is famous for its panoramic view of snow covered Himalayas, from Chaukhamba to Panchachuli. There are tea gardens on the adjoining mountain slopes. Another attraction of Choukori is the Musk Deer Research Centre or Kasturi farm of India’s three built iis 1976.

Mukteshwar:
The name Mukteswar is derived from Shiva’s face. The Mukteswar temple is the main attraction of Mukteswar Dham. Mukteswar is situated at a height of 2286 m. During the March-April Fullo-Ki-Tihar or festival of flowers, Mukteswar becomes colourful.
Mayabati:
It was by the active effort of two Swiss disciples of Swami Vivekananda, the Sevier couple, that the Advaita Ashram was established on 19 th March,1899, the birthday of Sree Ramakrishna, at Maipet which was renamed by Swamiji as Mayabati. Surrounded by mountains in the middle of deep forest at a height of 2073 m is the 2 storeyed ashram. The panoramic view of the 250 km wide area of snow covered Himalayas is seen from the ashram.
